Privacy Policy — AI Blocker Last updated: June 9, 2026

Who we are AI Blocker is a browser extension operated by the developer of AI Blocker, contactable at [email protected].

What the extension does AI Blocker blocks AI websites and hides AI features on pages you visit, based on a blocklist. It runs in your browser.

What we collect and store On your device only (never sent to us): your settings (which sites you've allowed, which features are on/off), and a local count and short list of recently blocked items shown in the popup. These are stored in your browser's local extension storage and never leave your device.

Sent to us only when you choose to: if you use the "Request a site to block" feature, the domain you submit is sent to us so we can review it for the blocklist. We do not attach your identity to it.

Payment information: subscriptions are handled by ExtensionPay and Stripe. We never see or store your card details. We receive only your subscription status (active/inactive) and the email used for billing, to provide the service.

What we do NOT do We do not track your browsing history. We do not sell or share your data with advertisers. We do not record the pages you visit.

Permissions and why Read and change data on websites you visit: required to hide AI elements on pages and to redirect blocked AI sites to our notice page. We only act on the blocklist. Web navigation: required to detect when you're heading to a blocked AI site so we can show the block notice. Storage: required to save your settings locally.

Your choices Turn the extension off anytime with the toggle, or uninstall it. Allow any individual site from the popup.

Children The extension is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect data from them.

Changes We may update this policy; the date above reflects the latest version.
